WHO WE ARE
The mission of the Peru Free Library is to bring people, information, and ideas together to educate, inspire, and enrich the quality of life for the greater Peru community.
EDUCATE
We strive to broaden the minds of children with our large children's collection ranging from nonfiction to classic literature. Our children's room offers a safe space for children to explore all kinds of books and play with fun toys.
INSPIRE
Local art is displayed throughout the library. We want to diversify art for patrons to learn and admire from quilts to ceramics to yarn. Come visit us to see all the amazing art we have!
ENRICH
The library offers a safe place for community members to come together. Parents and children have a place to meet, chat and play. Computers, comfortable seating, and a large piano are available to patrons. We want to create a home environment away from home!

Visit the library to see local artist's masterpieces that rotate every few months! All artwork is available for purchase, and a portion of the proceeds benefit the library.
