Library Director

Becky Pace avidly works on bringing unique art, programs, and literature to the Peru Free Library. As an artist herself, Becky's creative vision enriches the essence of the library, and she offers great book recommendations. Her goal is for patrons to feel at home and welcomed while visiting the library.

STACEY BOUSQUET

Assistant Librarian

Stacey Bousquet enjoys the social aspect of working at the library. She greets patrons by name and offers them a warm smile and hello. Stacey's goal is for patrons to leave the library knowing their community library cares about them.

ABOUT US

The Peru Free Library is located in the Champlain Valley of rural upstate New York. The library is a classic red brick colonial revival built in 1927 from a bequest of Horatio Baker. Our library is known for the bright and welcoming Children's Room with a comprehensive children's collection, diverse programming, extensive inter-library loan service, solar-powered electricity, a special collection of British DVDs, and 24/7 free Wi-Fi and high-speed public access computers.
