Lynda Mussen

Lynda earned a MFA in Theatrical Design in 1981 from Brooklyn College and a TESOL Certificate from Adelphi University in 1998. In 2016, she retired from teaching and relocated to Peru. Since retirement, Lynda has taken classes at SUNY Plattsburgh and attended workshops in plein air painting. She is a participating artist member of the Strand, the 13 Sundays Art Club, the Downtown Artists Cellar in Malone, and the Adirondack Artist's Association in Essex. Her primary medium is oil paint.

Beck Pace

Beck graduated from Lake Erie College. She studied Industrial Design at the Cleveland Institute of Art and later earned a Master's degree in English Literature, which led to her 21 year career as Peru Free Library Director. She retired in 2024 and is now a full time painter. Beck has exhibited at the Adirondack Artist's Association in Essex, the Heritage House and the Depot Theater in Westport, and the North Winds Fine Gallery in Saranac Lake. Her work is in private collections throughout the North Country.

Sherry Reynolds

Sherry was born in Huntington, NY where she was exposed to art and music of many forms in New York City. Briefly living in NY, after graduating from SUNY Oswego, she worked as a graphic artist for a paperback book company and as a freelance artist, specializing in hand letter design. She was a one woman art department for a printing shop in Maine. She moved to Peru in 1994. She is primarily self-taught, but has also taken in person and online painting classes in oil, watercolors and acrylics.
