Peru Free Library Fundraiser: Capture the Spirit of Peru!

Calling all local photographers, hobbyists and smartphone visionaries! The Peru Free Library is thrilled to announce our first-ever community photo project: Life, Culture, and Landscape of Peru 2027 Wall Calendar.

Peru isn't just a place on a map, it's our home, the golden hour over the apple orchards, the bustling energy at the Peru Town Market, the quiet snow on the Adirondack foothills and the faces of the neighbors who make this town feel like home. We want to see Peru through YOUR lens.

What we are looking for:
We want images that tell the story of our four seasons and the unique character of our town.
Categories include:
Landscape - The rolling hills, the Little Ausable River, and our iconic farmlands and orchards.
Culture - Community events, local landmarks, and the small details that define Peru.
Life - Candid shots of community life, wildlife and seasonal activities

Submission Guidelines:
Eligibility - Open to all residents of Peru and surrounding areas. Photos must be within the Town of Peru limits.
Format - High-Resolution digital files (landscape orientation preferred).
Quantity - Up to 3 submissions per photographer
Deadline - Submissions accepted May 1 - May 31, 2026

NOTE: Please ensure you have permission from any recognizable people featured in your photos
